Need some advice on my next (Head) steps

Hi everyone
I need some advice from you regarding the next steps in getting my x 100%
I was worried about a hydrolock, so i did a COLD comp test and had around 130 across all 6.
I have ridden her around and even after short rides (hot day) there is a weep out the LHS head gasket, so it will be a head off and new gasket time

The bike has 67 000km so not a spring chicken, however it doesnt look as thou the engine has been opened.
I am in South Africa and when ordering stuff from overseas it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to arrive.
(we have a post office that seems to guess where things are to go)
I have been looking at piston sets from Cruizin image and am very tempted.
As well as their carb kits.
A head gasket is a given. I am just trying to get a list together of what elseis needed.
(i dont suppose there is a way to check bores without opening head?) as i hate the idea of dissasembling it all and then waiting 6 months (possibly) for pistons to arrive , but it might be the only option?
SO MY STEPS PLANNED ARE:
Head off
measure bores for out of round/wear
New pistons/rings
Hone/rebore
Valve stem seals
Check valvea sre seating /if not regrind
replace head and base gasket
Am i missing any vital component here?
What else should i buy (gasket wise/ rubbers etc/ check)
Any links you could point me to ?
Threads that feature comprehensive head job ?
I realise this may have been covered before and i have been looking , but some links to items no longer exits or the pictures are now gone
I have put together a cb750 with some help from a mate, but am scared to do the x myself so will probably get a mate with a bikeshop to help,
he doesnt seem daunted at all by the cbx , so i should be in good hands
Again , thank you very much
Thorbjorn
