valve stem seals

I notice that there are several different valve stem seals out there. The original Honda style, which have retainer springs both top and bottom, the Kibblewhite ones with the same double retainer springs [very expensive] and the ones by "genesound" which only have the springs at the valve guide. Obviously the Viton seals would be the better choice but which ones. Given the work involved would the savings really be justified?

Any cylinder head I have done ALWAYS get genesound's "Breaking Bad" blue Viton seals.

First class product, fit and forget and have never heard even a whisper of dissatisfaction or issues with them from anyone whatsoever, on this and other four & six cylinder forums.

I only wish I had known about them before I rebuilt my engine well over a decade ago now. When I go back in, I will use nothing else, and have a set on hand ready and waiting. Just need to save up for my Cruizinimage 1147 kit

Also, the OEM Honda ones may have been sitting on a shelf for a VERY long time as well and so may be considerably less than fresh. Finally, the materials used in genesounds are far better than OEM. (unable to comment on Kibblewhite products)

Go blue and you will not be disappointed.
