Buy the bushings and use them as ear plugs until you feel "motivated" to change the old ones.
You would need pretty big ears to squeeze the new rubber dampers into them... :D :D
Try to find a Prolink clutch and replace your original one. Solves the rattle problem.
It may be more money but you save yourself the pain of taking the clutch apart and installing the dampers.

Is the ProLink a direct swap?

If you get all the parts it is. You need the Pro-Link bushing and 2 washers to go with it and many clueless sellers don't know to include them or they are lost otherwise. Your bike will still not be as quiet as a Pro-Link though, unless you swap out the entire primary shaft assembly as well.

The reason for the two washers is that the Prolink sleeve/guide is slightly shorter. I have installed a Prolink clutch with a early, longer sleeve and one washer and it works fine.

Re ProLink: food for thought. Thanks.

Glad to hear that solution worked for you Mike, others have reported problems with doing that.

I did it after analyzing the parts and the stack up of the clutch components. I came to the conclusion that the second washer was added for wear reasons and as a result, the sleeve had to be shortened. No real function issue. Wonder what problem "others" had.

I would think that you can't remove the washer that's between the clutch inner and outer on the Pro-Link pack. Spacing would seem to be an issue, unless you kept that washer, used the early sleeve and used no washer on the engine side. Which would probably work.
