Well, if the same part was used on other Hondas, the price would still be the same from the dealer. Unless I'm missing something in your question.

Re: Cam cover oil leak - newbie
I am not 100% sure, but I think the DOHCs (CB750/900/1100F) used the same part. I want to believe that I used those on my 81 CBX when I replaced them. Too long ago, don't quite remember ...pgilliam1 wrote:Thanks Dave and Mike. By the time I pay shipping, the dealers price is just as good. I'm surprised that such a simple part wasn't reused from other bikes.

Point taken, but I was referring to the other Honda seals that online are half the cost but look the same. You just can't tell diameters and thicknesses in pictures.daves79x wrote:Well, if the same part was used on other Hondas, the price would still be the same from the dealer. I was looking for the same the other day and best prices for honda OEM stuff is on partzilla.com
Less then bike bandit.
Valve cover rubber settings are $4.19 it's -#8 on the list.
Also the headlight that I just bought is $38 it's quite bit more else where.
