6 into 6 exhaust

Post by twinegar »

I am looking for a new chrome set of 6 into 6 exhausts for my 79 CBX. I tried a search at the forum but nothing came up. Maybe I didn't use the right search parameters. Anyway, if anyone knows where to get them I am all ears.

Hi everyone, Members of the UK club import them direct into Uk from Pipemasters and contact the company in Australia via the Pipemasters link on this site.Could not be easier if you have a creditcard.Peter Gray is the guy to contact. He will give you a quote including shipping. One of our members won the early stocks championship in the UK on a 79 fitted with a 6 into 6 Pipemasters. They do two types of baffles for the mufflers.Loud or very loud!!! Now all stainless although you might still be able to get the chrome headers and stainless mufflers. The Gazelle system mentioned previously by Larry is around $4000 yes $4K but you have to take the bike to them.So unless you are a millionaire and can afford to ship your bike to the UK I think that avenue is out? They will not send as handbuilt to fit your particular machine. The only other 6 into 6 system currently for sale I know of is the Powerflow from South Africa.Only ever seen one on a cbx in the UK.Again, around $3500/$4000 but they will send it to you.I do not have a contact though.Good hunting guys. It's the thought that counts.
Thanks cbxmel.
It's not that tragic as I like to keep my bikes OEM anyway. Those 6x6 pipes look soooo good though. I will get either an oem set or something that looks close and then grab the Pipemasters if they ever show up again.

Greg in Kansas also has a Sportster in addition to his CB750 and X. Must be a popular combo of bikes in that state.

I just won the OEM exhaust for $661.00 and feel pretty good about that. You experts take a look and see how I did: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0166543086

I also picked up the entire airbox assembly including the waste reservoir, hoses and fasteners for $300.00.

For the Cb750 fans. Proof that ugly can be transformed if you throw enough money and hours at it.

1969 HONDA CB750 "AFTER"

1982 HONDA CB750K "BEFORE AND AFTER"
http://www.spookytoms.com/SpookyTom-750-82B-5.html

I promise not to do any more non-CBX posts for the purists.

I think the 469 pipes are a good value for what you paid. They appear to be in very nice condition. The seller cleaned/polished them before selling them instead of the usuall "they'll polish up nicely" line.

And................
you may have already noticed. There are a VERY wide range of topics covered on this forum. There are folks interested in all kinds of bikes/cars. Some of us just like X's the most. :)

There are quite a few guys on here that have CB750's.
