I have the standard pipes off my 80 and find that I can move center pipe from side to side. There is a clamp that holds it to the collector and it is fully tight. Is this normal for there to be movement or should the center pipes be clamped tight? TIA.

Ross:
Most move a bit, but there is a collar gasket in there that may need replaced. They are still available from Honda. You'll see what I mean if you take one off.

Dave
I did not know those inserts were gaskets. Will get 2 new ones and re-install.
Thanks
