Just putting this out there.Would anyone be interested in trading a good working EURO spec rotor for my good working US spec rotor. Or the same goes with housing and stator, your US for my EURO. Even swap we each pay shipping one way.

Just putting this out there, in case:

Only the 1979 Euro model alternator is different from the U.S. unit. All the others are the same.

Ok, so let me rephrase my deal then. Does anyone need a complete 79 EURO spec alternator with a bad rotor?
If so I need a US spec(79-82) alternator housing and stator. Willing to trade. It's a good deal for the right person needing parts for a 79 restore, me I'm just trying to get some juice flowin.

Can you not find a place to get the rotor rewound? It's be a shame to start breaking up a Euro-spec '79. Looks like it still has most of it's unique parts.

Dave, unfortunately find in someone to rewind it and affording a rewind are two different subjects.I'm not sure if I trust sending, my only part and almost $200,to a company, and expect a good part to be returned to me.it's not that I don't trust the company(ok I dont) but I also don't trust the postal service to not loose my package along the way.

I can tell you that I've shipped stuff all over the country and world and never remember losing anything. Your experience must have been different. If that is your concern, then CBX ownership may be difficult.
