Ignition Timing

I am wondering if i should bee considering checking the ignition timing. Does it generally usually go out?

It should never change.

It wouldnt hurt to verify the settings though !

The most common thing that needs checking is the advancer, it sometimes freezes up and won't advance, causing the bike to be sluggish on the top end .

Shifting can be also due to primary chain wear ( stretch) & or the hydraulic slipper auto adjuster going AWOL...
