Does anyone know if the cbx1000z 1979 rotor and stator was compatible with any other honda model (new member scotland)

I believe stator from CB1100R is the same. Rotor is not. I can confirm this tonite.

There may be another issue using replacement parts. Some European countries had a smaller capacity alternator on the CBX-Z. It has a different housing also. U.S. parts will not fit. I don't know which one you have.

I don't have a better shot right now, but if you look closely you see the difference

Check with the UKCBXCLUB site, there are peeps in the UK who do rewinds etc...

Sorry, CBX and CB1100R stators are not the same. :( :(
