Is there a technic on aiming the headlight to the proper angle. For example, perhaps shine it on a wall. Is there a measurment say from the ground to the bottom or top of the beam
Thanks

Duane, if you ask at your local vehicle inspection test center I'm sure the will give you the info. However, I'm sure one of the guys will know...

Thanks for the info. I'll check out the light as you said also as far as the brace is concerned, I think I'll leave it off the bike for now. I find the bike just seems to handle fine without the brace.
Take care. Also what city or town do you live in again? I would like to look it up on the net. Can you send some pictures of your bike or bikes?

Strange, but nowhere in the Honda operator or service manual, nor in the set-up instructions is anything about headlight beam adjustment.
So, let's borrow something from the KZ1300 operator's manual. After all, it is also a six-cylinder
:
On high beam, the highest point should be slightly below horizontal. The proper angle is 0.4 degrees below horizontal. This is a 50mm ( 2 in) drop at 7.5 m (25 ft) measured from the center of the headlight, with the motorcycle on its wheels and the rider seated.
I am always amazed about Larry's confidence that one of the guys will have an answer
This was not an easy one.
