AGM Battery

Post by Tom Neimeyer »

A few days ago I ordered a YTX20HL-BS battery from CBXMan. It is smaller than the "Goldwing" battery I am used to and needs a "spacer" to fill the battery box.

It got here and I threw a charge on it. I used it to crank the new 1270 motor and it is AWESOME (the battery). It really spins the motor fast.

I'm very pleased with the battery and hope to buy several more in the future for all my CBXs.

I hope it will last longer than the regular lead/acid batterys I normally buy. The only down side is it's about $25 more than a regular lead/acid battery. Price wise, 3 AGM batteries cost the same as 5 regular lead/acid batteries.

I ordered several other odds and ends along with the battery and a few days later placed another small order. I would reccomend the battery and CBXMan for your CBX needs.

Regards, Tom
