My fuel tank cock is weeping, a result of the tiny o-ring shown below having almost perished ..

Does anyone have an individual o-ring P/N, or any other idea for replacing this without going to the expense of having to replace all 3 items included in the Honda kit, P/N 16952-422-005

Cheers, Aris

For clarity's sake pls note, the leak comes from the bottom of the hex nut securing the cock, has nothing to do with the fuel on / off switch itself.
Thanks, Aris

Aris:
Don't think that's a separate part #. I'd try to source it locally. The 422 kit is NLA over here, but the 469 kit is still available (different stand pipe heights).

Aris: Try 16958-MA2-771. That's the O-ring from the Prolink petcock. It may be the same, I don't know for sure.

A promising idea.
Is there a dimensional description of 16958-MA2-771 in the Prolink parts manual I presume you have?
It is not unusual for Honda to state o-ring inner diameter and thickness.

the 422 or 469 kits over here (EU) seem to be available but retail at over £50 after you add the dreaded VAT and P&P. Seems like a lot for a ~$5 o-ring.

Thanks

I had hoped that, Aris, but there is not one. And the O-ring is not listed under commonly required replacement parts. The 16958 number makes it specific for the petcock. It is not a generic O-ring.

I could always send you a letter Aris :-)
