Poor Tickover

Hi
After having the carbs on my 1980 CBX1000A overhauled i have found that the tickover is very lumpy and the mixture is very rich even when the mixture screw is right in the bike sounds and runs ok when the throtle is opened but on tickover it sounds like its on choke because of the rich mixture has anybody out there in CBX Land any ideas if so please send me an E mail at MITCHT@MTODD20.FREESERVE.CO.UK

:wink: For all you bloody Yanks out there: "Tickover" is "Engine Idle". It is an old English expression mainly used by lorry-drivers who wear braces to keep their pants up while riding in fast lifts....Sorry, could not help it... :lol: :lol: I am not American either..
