The reflector on my '81 CBX headlight is discoloring and the reflector material is coming loose. I had a similar situation on my '82 some years ago.
I stopped at my local NAPA dealer and asked him if he had a bulb that would fit in the mounting parts. He brought out a Wagner 6015. It fits right in the mounting brackets. The output is 60w/50 as apposed to the stock 60w/55. It is listed as a heavy duty bulb and optional equipment for the Nissan B2100
I haven't had an opportunity to check the light output on the bike yet.
Has anyone tried this bulb in their late model?

Freeways are boring. Back roads have character.

Were you running a high output bulb in the current one?
