Dyno jet clip settings

I have a stage 3 kit on my cbx1000 z and I am cleaning the carbs,the stage 3 was fitted before I got the bike it has a gas flowed head with 3 K&N filters
and Pipemaster 6into6 exhaust I have no instructions to look at for tuning,I found instructions for a stage 1 kit on the net and it says put the e clip on the 4th groove from the top,my clips are on the top groove with 98 main jets and fuel mixture screws out 2 1/2 turns out,has anybody any idea what the correct setting should be.

I'd say whichever combination works is the correct setting. Was it running to your satisfaction already? It's probably right. Elevation has a lot to do with it too, but if it wasn't exhibiting lean or rich conditions anywhere, you're probably fine.
