I bought a Fuel Strainer that I thought would work On an 80 model, it is Honda #16952-469-005 And it is too big in diameter to go in the petcock hole in the tank. Has anyone else run across this problem and is 16052-422-005 the one that I need ???? I hate to buy these things at $30 each if they won't fit.

Don,
I recently had the carbs cleaned and it was recommended that I install a fuel line filter - $8.00 (Canadian). After I installed it and opened the petcock I immediately noticed particles of rust getting hung-up in the clear filter. I've got my first winter project lined up - clean / coat the inside of the tank.
