Carburetor stock jet needles for a 1980 model

Post by bdento59 »

The jet needles I removed from my carbs had 55A stamped on them. Are these the stock needles for a VB62A (1980) carb casting? TIA

I just have VB60's and VB64's. The VB60's have needles with 05F on them. The 64's are in my stock '82. I'd have to drop the engine.

The needles in the 1980 and 81/82 are the same. Honda's part number was 16012-469-004 for the needle set.

Bill:
I'm here, just haven't had time to check. I have all years of carbs here and just have to pull a top. Come on George - all you have to do is pop off an outside cap! Seriously, I'll try to get the # off the needle for you Bill.

I don't know if all VB64's came with 55A but the needle in the carb for the #6 cylinder on my 82 has 55A stamped on it.
