On the pump rod I am having a problem with the order of the spring, spring collar etc. I have a shop manual, but it does not seem to show the order properly. At the bottom of the rod there is a cotter pin. Do I place a washer over the cotter pin then the spring collar, followed by another washer and another cotter pin?

I think the cotter pin and washer are on the bottom end and the spring collar is on the other side of the spring. Only one washer, one cotter pin.
