Carb Leak after shutdown

Post by cba »

I have an '80, after I ride and park it,on center stand, I have a fuel drip between #3 and #4 carbs. Since it's in the middle of the bank I can't tell what's going on. The bike runs fine and no gas comes out the overflow tubes, just drips on the engine! What's up? Thanks, Chet
AM I THERE YET?

Leaks

I had this problem twice. The first time it was the O rings connecting the carburetors.

The second time, and this one is easy to fix, it was the rubber adapter between the carburetors and the intake. You can first try tightening the adapter.
