Idle Adjustment Screw Set

Post by Spooky#1 »

The screw set is worn and I want to replace it but the oem part is unavailable. There are a number of Honda's that use the same set with small differences. I'm looking at Honda 16028-HM3-L00 SCREW SET, it looks the same minus the mounting bracket. Has anyone used this one successfully?

What do you mean 'worn'? The only things that ever happen to these are the rubber comes off, easy to replace with heat shrink, or the spring under the rubber gets rusted enough to break. Otherwise, they don't get 'worn'. The set you show here is likely fine as long as the overall length is the same as the CBX one.

Ya...I took mine to the platers and had it done with all the carb brackets, looks like new now.

I'll just heat shrink it, looks like what Honda did at the manufacturer anyway. The threaded shank has a larger diameter than on the other models I found so they wouldn't work.
