My 1980 recently started running weak off the line, I changed the plugs to 8s from 7s and this helped some. The old plugs were all dark, almost but not quite black, no oil fouling. I asked George at Valley Motorsport and he suggested a damp air filter might cause this rich condition, but taking the filter off really didn't cure it. She still pulls strong once up to 3 grand or so, any thoughts?
