Carbs are back to stock.
Airbox mounted up, and finally lined up correctly, now that the correct breather hose was installed.
Started up right away, and runs pretty good now.
Took a few twists of the wrist, to prime the accelerator pump, once that came on line, it ran great.
It still has incorrect spark plugs, i will put in some d8ea tomorrow. And run it a few kms.
Something isnt right with the clutch. But thats for another day.
I might have to take the cover off and inspect.
The bike now does seem to be smoking once hot.
May be thats some of the sootburning off that got built up ( probably not ), but trying to be optimistic.

Don't worry about the smoke just yet. If the bike has laid up for a while, oil is burning out of the combustion chamber and possibly the exhaust, depending on prior treatment. Run it through several heat and cool cycles and it will stabilize. Not saying it won't be a smoker or use oil, but most don't after a proper re-commissioning.

Not sure yet, if its a clutch issue, or worn/bent tranny components.
Shifting is hard, impossible to come out of first, whether to neutral or second, when coming to a stop.
Even while standing stationary, while in gear and holding the clutch, blipping the throttle can help shift.
But as soon as engine is turned off, tranny can shift again.
While riding, it will shift theough all gears, but not as smoothly as hondas usually do. But the counter shaft turning definitely helps the shifting, still crunchy though.

Have you started the clutch adjustment procedure by the manual, from the bottom adjuster under the little cap on the clutch cover, then work your way up? Sounds to me like the clutch is just plain not fully releasing.

It does sound very much like my experience having bought an engine back to life after a long lay up, I initially adjusted the clutch by the book but it displayed the symptoms you have then after a few dozen miles did it again as Dave suggests and it was right as rain

Yes i did. It does feel like as it doesnt disengage fully.
I have been very careful, as to not push it i into gears if it doesnt want to, to not incur any more damage or wear.
Once into service, i am hoping it will improve.
Meantime, i notices today, that the charging system needs attention as well lol

Aftermarket clutch components have been know to cause these problems.
Are your fibers and steel plates stock??

I cant say that i know whats in there for clutch plates.
I will ride it a few 100kms, and then see if i wana open it up,
Unless it improves.
The bike doesnt look abused, other than the crazy carb parts lol
