I have tried Marvels on a CBX ... the reason was I had an an annoying o-ring leak at one of the inter-carb fuel transfer tubes ... the Marvels seems to "condition" this o-ring so it would no longer leak.

Seafoam
I too have used seafoam with success, spiking the tank pretty heavy and riding until the tank is nearly empty to get it all through the system. 151 proof rum will also work and it will make your bike feel a lot better.
