Just brought my 1980 CBX out of hibernation. It has only been driven for less than 1 hour per year for the last 15.
Carbs were overhauled 9 years ago but number 2 now not engaging until RPM 4000 plus. Other 5 carbs seem fine. Bike runs very well even on 5 cylinders until number 2 kicks in and then no problem. It is difficult to start cold but what else is new as its been that way back into the 90s.
Im looking into removing the carbs for troubleshooting and calibration by someone more experienced than my basic knowledge of such a job.. Does anyone know of a reputable outfit who comes recommended?
It would be great to find someone in the Toronto area as I live in Oakville Ontario.
Thanks very much for any suggestions.
