Hi Guys
I have a 1981 Prolink, I overhauled the carbies, but runs lean off idle and at low speed, I did not remove the idle jets ( apparently to do this they have to be drilled and tapped to pull them out?) My main question is the carby kits I got had 6 rubber plugs, where do they go? there were none installed when I stripped down the carbs, are they for earlier models? Also where can I purchase a set of slow speed jets? Have since found a post re removing the slow jets for cleaning. My carbs had mud in the bottom of bowl, so slow jets are probably blocked.
Thanks, Steve

Rubber plugs are only for 1979 carbs. Get jets from Sirius:

Also, if you don't already have it, you should get a copy of Mike Nixon's book:

Thanks Spencer
I thought the plugs must be for earlier model but was not 100% sure, The amount of muck that was in the bottom of the bowl makes me think the slow speed jets are probably partially blocked. I think that book would be a good investment.
