'79 petcock

None of my usual sources carry the rubber disk for the petcock (K&L, Sudco, Parts Unlimited, etc., etc.). I've been looking for the early CB350 Twin, etc. disks as mentioned on the board here but can't find any of those either. Do I need to just gulp and buy a Pingel??? That would be okay.

Regularly on E-bay for $89 and $99. Just a comparison if you local Honda shop gouges.

I don't think Pingel makes a petcock to 'fit' a CBX - You have to screw an adapter on the tank and then the petcock onto the adapter which doesn't work very well . . . . the whole mess hangs too low, the valve is difficult to work and your reserve winds up being cut down to nearly nothing. Rebuilding the your stock one is the way to go
