Leaking carbs
Hi, I have an issue regarding a fuel leak somewhere in my carb bank. I was intending to pull the carbs of due to the fact I could not find the leak while the carbs are intact on the bike. I fired up the bike today to go for a spin. The bike still leaks a bit of fuel. I brought the bike to the local car was and as usual used the wand wash. After I washed the bike, I noticed so far today that the fuel leak had stopped after washing the bike. Is there any possible reason that the fuel leak stopped after washing the bike?. Thanks

Keep an eye on it, it may have been a hung float needle. It also may have been a dry o-ring that swelled upon contact with fresh fuel flow. Is this the first time you've been riding it in a while?

Leaky carbs
Thanks for the reply. My CBX was leaking until last fall when I finally stored it for the winter. I did add some stabilizer into the fuel. I wonder if this had something to do with the carbs not leaking. This is the second ride I have done this spring. The first ride had a leak in the carbs. As I said earlier, I washed the bike today and the leak stopped. I'll see tomorrow if the bike leaks again. Could the stabilizer have anything to do with the carbs not leaking
