Hi Guys,
Thank you for letting me come and play, I've just brought my first CBX, haven't even had chance to ride one yet. So after a life time of light and nimble bikes, this is going to be an experience.
I live in the driest inhabited state on the driest continent in the world, we have more problems with the heat than with cold or rain, which is a massive 10 inches a year. So I basically get to ride all year round, I'm looking forward to getting my new bike on the road.
The bike, a 1982 CBX1000 was imported to Australia 2 years ago from the USA, and has never been made compliant with Ozzy laws, so that is my game plan at the moment, make the bike legal and enjoy it before I do any serious work to it.
I have lots of plans in my head, but have to find out if the bike is too my tastes first.
Hopefully I'll get the bike legal in the next two weeks and then the fun starts.
Phil

Welcome to the site, Phil.
Year round riding is only a dream for a lot of us.
What else have you been riding?

I built myself a one off Triumph Bonneville and called it a Speed Twin in 2007, 1100cc, six speed gearbox, mag wheels, twin discs, still got it, but has been much modified since. When I learn how to post photos, I'll put one up.steve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:Welcome to the site, Phil.

I'm also just about to start fighting with a GT750, but that's long term project
