I built my own mufflers!

Post by alaskancbx »

My bike came with Kerker 3 into 1 pipes with no mufflers. It was obnoxiously loud, so I took it upon myself to make my own mufflers for it. I couldn't see shelling out all the big bucks for some simple pipe.

I'm not the best fabricator, but they turned out pretty nice in my opinion. I think I only spent about $150 total.
Outside pipe is 5"
Inner is 2"

Here's the build process photos:

Here's what it sounds like:

Good job sounds good ! Thought about changing the Can on my RC 6-2 for a "Kerker Can" just for 2nd option slip-on but close to $ 500 for 2 ?? Mine has 2 1/2 collector like the V rod http://www.ebay.com/itm/KERKER-K-Series ... ab&vxp=mtr
