renovating my cbx

At first it was a box bike in alot of peases, but got it together and the final result looked like this.

But then ! After faulty camshaft install (180degree out) :sad-roulette: :no :think: and a clutch disaster and a broken cam chain guide i disided to rebuild. So i thought you might have a look at it:) So long so far... Bought new chains and got that done also.

Out with everything and start all over!

Everything is cleaned in ultrasonic bath and oiled up again.

And then some sound bits from before where cams where installed wrong and idle and start up where a pain in the ass... :?

How can i get it uploaded? its mp4 files.

Oh man I hate hearing stories like yours. The worst part ? It looked so good initially. :(
What happened to the clutch ?

The nut holding the main sprocket fell off and where held on the spark advancer rod so it could crash around the clutch bell. Luckily it did not crash into the clutch cover :-)

This is indeed a sad tale. Reminds me of Aris' troubles. I'm still in amazement how many times these engines get put together with the cams 180 out, with the wealth of information and warnings there are about that.

My dad and i have learned how to install cams now, and hope the engine will be easyer to start! :sad-roulette: :dance:
