81 Pro-link project

Post by gladders »

Hi all,
Bought this 9 years ago, finally staring the project. Not one for the purists as I will be fitting Suzuki GSXR running gear and remodelling the bodywork, hope to have it done in time to ride it next summer.

Will be asking loads of questions as this is the first CBX I have done

Be it resto-mod or stock, always good to have a build to follow.

I see you got your answer on Facebook, but to reiterate, yes, they'll be fine.

Got the head and barrels off this week, had to remove the studs as the barrel was stuck solid, bores and pistons look ok at first glance but will measure them up when I have completed the strip down.
