Followed me home from Barber - NON CBX

Added another project and need parts.
Found a 1971 CT90 (trail 90) at Barber swap meet during the Vintage Festival this year.
When I got it home I discovered that it is not in as good a shape as I had thought. :violin:
Looking for a parts bike but would consider individual parts purchases.
Most immediate needs:
Stock carb (it has a garbage Chinese carb)
Hi/Lo transmission parts.
Yellow headlight shell.
front and rear sprockets.
Cash or may have CBX parts to trade for CT90 and/or CT90 parts.
Appreciate any leads as I would like to have it "back on the road" over this winter.
Thanks,

John,

The only part I have you might need is the chrome cover on the front frame tube. It came on my Rally 90, another rare piece on Hinda history.

If you have a spare front fender, I could use one. Rough condition is okay.

John, I have been restoring a C200 for a couple of months and have dug up some good parts resources including of course David Silver Spares. The parts manual is invaluable so you can get the part numbers and search eBay and Silver and others with that. I'd have been lost without it.

For sure though the best web resource i've found is the lilhondas.com web forum: http://lilhonda.com/webboard/forum.php

Good parts source: http://dratv.com/

The folks that did our Sankei group buy are also into the little Hondas: http://cart.hondanuts.com/Default.aspx

Photos or it isn't happening!

Funny how so many of the projects do not look as nice the "morning-after".
John, i have had good luck with the guys at Northeast Vintage on my small Honda refurbs.

Rick, Sorry for the slow reply.
Not sure what chrome piece you have for a CT90 (Trail 90)?
What year CBX fender and what is the color of the bike?
Hope you are enjoying the Christmas season and best wishes for a happy new year.

John,

The cover is from one of the kits to convert the CM-91. I was mistaken that it was also for the CT-90. The fender I need is the same as a CT, but in black.

Oops, sorry that I misread. Can't help you with that fender now but will keep my eyes open.
