1979 CBX - Candy Glory Red Restoration (PIC HEAVY)

I finished the complete frame off restoration/engine overhaul of the 1979 CBX I bought this past summer. This was the bike that was originally from Canada, the owner reportedly had sent the engine to "Pops" Yoshimura back in the early 80's. The bike had been sitting around for 21 years without being ridden and had accumulated quite a bit of rust. Original color was Silver. It was missing some items as well, most of which were located by Louis (many thanks to Louis for his NOS and near NOS parts). The polished aluminum items were polished to a brighter finish than stock and a few were chromed via Bill Brint at Tim's. Carbs rebuild with Oldschoolcarbs master kit.
The bike can be seen at the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland Ohio (January 29-31) at the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club booth.
Here's a bit of info on the bike.
