Which exhaust should I choose?...
Hey everyone! I've been playing with thought of buying a new exhaust set for my project cbx. Re-wiring it from my previous incident (Which can be read on the last page here viewtopic.php?f=102&t=8843) and exhaust should be all it needs to hear it finally vroom!
Money's been tight since I am terrible with my money and bought an 81 Suzuki TS250...
I am thinking of a budget of around 800 USD... Sound reasonable? I am not willing for fork out the money for a pipemaster...
I was mainly looking at the Campbell X-pipe or back to 6-2 kerker exhuast. There is also a DG 6-1 on ebay for 799 but it's kind of ugly if you ask me...
Thoughts? Does anyone have the x-pipe installed? Sounds good?

Tims CBX in the US has a couple of choices but they are both $1295.00 US so .... OUCH ! for us Canadians. They do sometimes have reasonable used sets. I've read that the DG 6-1 is a pain to install and may need modifications. MAC Performance has a 6-2 for $583.00 if budget is the limiting thing. You could check with Louis Mintrone at
usedcbxparts@hotmail.com to see if he has any sets.

From what I've seen 6-1 pipes mean removal of centre stand ... couldn't do without it ...

Not all of them.
The DG system just requires a center stand stopper/rest be added.
Each manufacturer would have to be researched.

I have Prolink with DG 6>1 and no issues with center stand. I also like the look of the spaghetti pipes!
