franken-trike

came across this monster in a local bike shop...it's not often that you come across a Daimler powered trike, I was told it was ridden and was in the shop to alter it's steering system

If you get back there again a pic or two of the Triumph chopper next to it would be appreciated.
Rare finding a shop nowadays that would take in strays like that to work on.

Quite the 'bike'!! Front suspension appears to be sufficiently robust. Is that galvanised water pipe for the cooling system? Would like to see more of this one just of curiosity.

Full on winter weather today , 29c ! I’ll drop in for a visit and coffee mid week when temps get up to zero....I’ll take some pics of of the Daimler trike and Triumph and any other odd creation ...it’s an atypical moto shop, customers are allowed to browse the parts bins and chat with the mechanics...

Thankfully we have global warming, Wyly. :roll: 'Only' -20c here this morning. Neat shop. Sounds like a good place for coffee chat. Here's to a good riding 2018. cheers,

overnight temp -32c :shock: the coldest it's been since I moved here 17 years ago...and only two weeks ago it was still riding weather...

it is galvanized pipe, they're preping the trike for a Bike/car show...
