Re: CBX bicycle?
I am not sure, but the only brake I see is the bicycle rim brake on the front wheel. Try to stop that thing even from only 35mph...

There was a funny movie several years ago, telling a similar story. It was called "Danny Deckchair"

Re: CBX bicycle?
A couple comments about this bike,
1. it's not mine,just a picture from the web.
2. I doubt it actually runs or is ridden. I don't see a drive chain connected to the engine.
3. May be someones idea of "art".
4. As to why, some people would say why not?
There is a guy from Minneapolis named Ky Michaelson, aka Rocketman
http://www.the-rocketman.com/content12.html who has put hydrogen powered rockets on everything from motorcycles to snowmobiles.
He is also the only private citizen to launch a rocket into outer space at an altitude of 72 miles!
Someone asked him why would you put a rocket on a wheelchair? Why not.

.
There is a drive chain from the bicycle sprocket on the right side to the rear wheel. The bicycle sprocket is driven by a shaft that has a sprocket on the left side which connects to the countershaft sprocket on the engine.

I'd like too see more pictures, from different angles before I believe it is not a product of Photoshop.
