Holy crap. I can hardly watch those race track videos, they make my palms sweat. Armco barriers EVERYWHERE. One woodchuck wanders out and KAPOW! Meet the Sausage Creature.
I'm on the fence about those gyro cameras. It's cool and illustrative, but disorienting too. Very cool video though, no doubt about it.

I wonder where and how the camera was mounted It hangs on a swivel, so it is always vertical, and you can see part of the helmet in either of the top corners, depending on how the rider turns. Must be somewhere in front of his chest.

Mike, my guess is some kind of gimble mount attached to the bike. Notice that the bike never bounces relative to camera, camera doesn't seem to get any closer or farther from instruments, etc.
