Sad news. I just watched On Any Sunday (again) the other day. What a rider!

Re: Malcolm Smith has passed
I was lucky enough to meet him once, a long time ago. So down to earth and soft spoken. Another great one, gone.

Re: Malcolm Smith has passed
He was a Big influence on me as a kid, like most gearheads of that era. They have been airing On Any Sunday and part II the past month on direct tv, I watched it all and it was great.
RIP Mr. Motorcycle Legend.

Same for me. Watching him ride that stock bike almost all the way up the hill and then turn it around and ride it back down was cool as hell. Loved his big smile as if it was nothing special, he was just having fun.
