Re: Best Photos of Your CBX
I know that there has been a discussion about Photobucket, but I am unsure of a few things. If you have linked to an image of your CBX which is coming from Photobucket, this is what I see:
I'm sure the person who contributed the picture of their CBX sees the image perfectly, since it is their image. But, the rest of us see the annoying image above.
I understand that Photobucket is asking for more money now, in order for their images to be seen. What I am not sure about is this: When they say "Update Your Account", are they expecting me to pay to see images from them, or are they asking this website (CBX club) to pay, or are they expecting the person who owns the image to pay?
Whatever the case, they won't be getting a penny from me, and I suppose that means I will never see the images of anyone's CBX which is stored on Photobucket. That's a shame. I would urge everyone to upload their image directly to the website, and then everyone will be able to see your CBX. It's really not hard to do.
Sorry to interrupt the stream of nice pictures, but I just felt like I needed to say something.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

My '82. Just turned 14,000 miles. Bought it from the original owner. I bought an 82 because I wanted the Prolink suspension but removed the fairing and luggage because I prefer the naked look. Just installed a Progressive rear shock and can't wait to ride it and experience the improved handling.

Thanks for the smoothbore numbers, JP.
Mine are going on the '79 in the spring and are currently set-up with 112.5 main, 22.5 primary and 25mm float height.
Now i have another direction if they don't work for me.

Thanks for sharing! What's that big red thing ahead of the shock? Is it an external reservoir for the shock?

Phil, they look like Marzocchi Strada shocks.
Good shocks back in the day but rebuild kits can be difficult to find.

I have two sets of those shocks, both needing rebuilt. Yes, the kits are hard to find.
