Tomorrow, the forecast for about a 250 mile radius (which includes hiway one) is high 60s to low 70s and SUNNY! I won't be on a CBX though, as I will be trying out some modified pipes on my Busa and some new earphones for my V1. Triple digit sight seeing here I come

Well, it was a great day for riding. Sun was out and it was actually warm! T shirt under my jacket and I didn't really need the zip out liner. Got in about 300+ miles, tried the new modified pipes and LOVE the growl of the Hayabusa at high revs. Adjusted the suspension a bit to lessen the nose dive under hard braking and that worked out pretty well too. A 996 came up behind me for a pass in a corner and right afterwords I re-passed him and put some distance between us. He never came back up. While I was taking a break an RC51 (I think) came blasting by and sounded very very good! Rode into SF later and saw a Chevron station at $3.199 for Supreme. Sure glad I didn't need any but really, it wasn't too much more than anywhere else.
Met my daughter at the Sweetwater Saloon in Mill Valley that evening for a Shana Morrison (Van's daughter) show. Great pair of lungs and great guitarists as well. A fine Strat, a fine old Telecaster and the bass player played a 5 string bass. Really good show including some of Dad's songs. She autographed her CDs and we sat about 10' from the stage. The 'Saloon' only holds about 150 people or so. Good Italian dinner house two doors down too.
On the way home after 1:30 a.m. or so, my V1 started ringing for something coming up behind me. I couldn't even see headlights behind me yet on this very high speed section of 280, lots of sweepers, but I've learned to pay attention to my 'early warning'. Sure enough, after I got back down to double digits, a CHP came flying up behind me and the V1 really started screaming. Man, I love that thing!!!!!
