a good week

The last seven days have been eXcellent. Started out with hauling a load from San Diego to Fernley, NV, a small town 30 miles east of Reno. I stopped in Reno and had breakfast with Bean. It was too cold to work for Bean so he went fly fishing. From there I went to Fresno to pick up for Ft Worth. I just skirted the storm that was to really mess up Oklahoma. I came up to the storm approaching Ft Worth again and swapped loads with one of our drivers in Sweetwater, TX with a load for Tracy, CA. Unloaded in Tracy and now I'm doing my 34 hours. You can only drive so many hours a day or week and when you get to the max, you can lay over for 34 hours and start over. I emptied out Tracy on the 16th, had dinner with Terry that night in San Jose, and had dinner last night with Mopar Tony. Went for a short ride with Tony also. He rode his Kaw triple while I rode his 79 X. Loved the smell, I followed him all the way. I don't think it's considered pollution when you run bean oil in 2 strokes.

Tony has two 750's. I like your selection for wheels, is that your's? I'm considering a Hawk GT swingarm in my spare Kaw triple frame. If it works, then I'll finish the rest of the bike.

Well, I made it to Baltimore and Kevin Eaton (greyghostrider) is picking me up and were gonna go get something to eat. Kevin's daughter works at the Cheesecake Factory. Don't know where were gonna eat. Don't anyone tell my wife (Kayeboo) about the Cheesecake Factory. This is turning out to be a pretty good trip.

George, You are caught now. I guess you will not be coming down here for some last minute riding and lunch. You just need to change your ID when you are on this site. Kay you need to get one of those ankle monitor so you can keep a eye on him at all times. :D
