OK, small teaser: roughly 70 other back issues of the CBXPress are in the midst of production and should be online by the end of October. This has involved scanning, OCRing these to make them searchable and machine-readable, and finally repaginating them and saving them as PDF files.

These date back to the early days of the club in 1982, when the CBXPress was a typewritten and photocopied newsletter, and there are a ton of real gems in there. Some stuff is just cool for the whole 'way we were' value, but some other stuff is historical in nature, parts and accessories manufacturers listed and advertising, many many tech tips, cool modifications, early ride and rally reports, and the emergence of the first wave of totally custom CBXes, including one Egli-framed, twin-turbo'd and NOS-equipped 'Beast' for the mysterious 'JR' that was reputed to cost more than $300,000.

I'm tempted to attempt to index these, but not at first, I just want to get them online for your enjoyment.

A huge thank you Nils for tackling this job.
I have a couple issues from the mid-90's that came with a bike i bought. Even from just 15 years ago the difference in pricing is surprising.
Just a small facet in having the old magazines on-line.

These old ones are really neat, not to mention they are full of technical pearls. Big batch will be ready very soon, then one more final batch to follow.
