As posted on FB pages, Kurt Muehlbacher and I are loading up today to leave before first light tomorrow morning.
We'll be setting up settling in Thursday and presenting our 2 seminars on carburetion, Friday and Saturday.
"On Friday and Saturday of the event, Kurt Muehlbacher and myself will be hosting carburetor seminars at 2:00. Sharing our over 40 years of carburetor knowledge. Focus on the Honda, 6 cylinder, CBX, CV carbs. hand-outs, tricks and tips with other useful information."
In particular, I'll be demonstrating and providing the tools (free to the first 75 each day) on how to quickly and easily extract the idle jets, without drilling or tapping.
I've kept my method somewhat of a secret and only shared to a select few over the years. Now, it's time to release it to the CBX community and make rebuilding these carbs, easier for everyone.
We're scheduled to be in the restoration area, Floor BR at 2:00 each day. See all the seminars here:

I hope to see a bunch of you there at the Barber Museum in Birmingham, Alabama.

Thanks, JR. Unfortunately, of all the years, I will not be able to attend this year. Enjoy this one all.

How did it go JR?
I saw the itinerary for the weekend, what a fantastic opportunity for visitors to see some real craftsmen at work!

Re: Heading to Barber tomorrow - Carb seminars
We had about 20 people at the first seminar on Friday. About 40 or so on Saturday.
I demonstrated my "trade secret" of idle jet extraction that doesn't require drilling and tapping.

Parts to do it yourself at: KMCarburetor.com
Met a lot of people, saw many friendly faces in the crowd, cackled off my '81 naked CBX to demonstrate how properly tuned a CBX will start and run.
Fun times, I hope we're invited back next year. Awesome facility.
