MASSIVE THANKS TO LARRY ZIMMER

Post by NobleHops »

I want to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to Larry Zimmer for single-handedly keeping this forum alive and well. Larry has been managing and maintaining this forum for something like 5 years by now, and just completed a major update to the back-end software and security that will hopefully keep it stable and running smoothly for another stretch of time.

As the guy that did that job for a few years before him, I can tell you that it chews up a chunk of a person's time and attention, and there are no days off from it either - there is always some member that lost a password, or wants to join, or has a posting question or a glitch, or just somebody bitching about something. Running a forum or a website or a Facebook group is one of those things that the less you notice it, the harder somebody is working at it.

This is a priceless resource for the worldwide community of CBX lovers, and we owe it to Larry for how well it is being managed.

With appreciation,

Nils Menten

Hooray for Larry!!!! Yes, he's been the man behind the scene, smoothing out the bumps for us. I think he deserves a cigar, or maybe two.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Thanks, all, guys. I don't do it alone. There is some help behind the curtain. Thanks, there, too. However, I do and will try to keep this going. it's just one great ride. You all are worth it.
P.S. We're still working on the photo gallery.
