Former CBX owner and ICOA member Don Cecconi knew Dave Mungenast. Don was a vp for Toyota, and Dave had many car dealerships, I believe Don told me he was one of the first Lexus dealers in the US. Don loaned me a book written about Mr. Mungenast, titled "Take it to the Limit, the Dave Mungenast Way". It was an interesting read.

The motorcycle business in the 70s and 80s was so exciting we were dazzled year after year by Japanese technology and it got better every generation all or mostly all from racing I’m so glad I was a part of it,
