What kind of tires shall we put on this beautiful '82 so that
Wendell can ride it?

The Shinko 230 seem to be a good choice.
As for the story on the 850 mile '82, maybe the
owner can fill you in as I know nothing of it's history.

It's all good! The question was just a convenient excuse to post some pics of an excellent condition '82 with some eye candy in the background!!

Yes, Shinko's are the only ones in the stock size. I bought Michelin Pilot Active and are bike rides and handles great but rear looks way too skinny
