CBXPRESS Fall/Winter 2015/16
Hi guys,,
Just received my copy of the latest issue of CBXPRESS and what a surprise to find David Davenports article about his visit
to my humble abode 'cbx towers'!!!
It was great to meet Dave and Jen and the girls had plenty to talk about when Dave and I were in my office and out in the garage. We discussed the nine CBX's he own's and he has supplied me with all the vin numbers which I passed to Mike Simon(EMS) who keeps a record of known surviving CBX's. He can give the date it was built if you do not have a record. If you have not given Mike details of your CBX do pass details on so he can continue to build up his records. Don't forget if any of you guys come over to the UK you are very welcome to visit or stay here. Free board and lodging!! Had many stay here over the last thirty years. We are only quarter of a mile from the sea and only 45 minutes from the Snowdonia mountain range plus the longest Zip Wire in Europe possibly on the planet! Also great to see my buddy David Carroll in print. I used to own that Moto-Martin David nearly bought off another buddy of mine Jeff Coker who owns 12 CBX's!!!
All the best

BTW: the cover photo taken by Jan Ringnalda, shows his 1980 and my 1981 Prolink parked off NC 28, with part of Fontana Lake in the background.

Despite all the information and photos available on the internet I get much enjoyment from reading a magazine I can hold in my hand. Thanks.
