But it also looks rather tight :o One of the most annoying problems I have on some bikes is the difficulty of removing the front wheel, becasue it is very hard to pull the calipers off through the tight space between the rotor and the rim.
You make a good point, and that's something I hadn't given careful consideration to. I'm pretty sure that I've seen bigger rotors on similar wheels, but we'll need more than that to make sure it's doable. Lots of measurements to be done before this setup is finalized.

With the large ID of these rotors, maybe they can be unbolted from the adapters and dropped enough to give clearance to pull the calipers before the wheel is removed. We'll see.

This week I also ordered some Brembo axial-mount 4-pot calipers (the 2-pad calipers, not the sessier 4-pad ones. And DEFINITELY not monoblocs), and a Bandit 1200 5/8" master cylinder. According to the measurements I and some helpful forum members have taken, plus the research I've done, this setup should fit and work together OK. But I'll be on pins & needles from now until everything's bolted together & bled...

Calipers arrived yesterday. Every part that I hold in my hands gets me a bit more excited about spring and a bit less concerned about the inevitable settling of the bill at the fabricator's. :)

Forks showed up 3 months later... And my handlebars, bar clamps, and GPS mount have all arrived this week, too.

Everything goes to the fabricator in 2-3 weeks.

Thanks Mike.

Sorry I let this drop. The parts are collecting dust until the end of this riding season, due to other hold-ups with the project.

Everything's lined up now, ready to go into the shop when the snow starts flying.
