Alternator and oil pressure switch 'boot'

Post by CBX1000chris »

Apologies for subject description and if this has been covered before sorry too, I did search for them! I'm working through my bike and the boot for the cables that exit the alternator is badly cracked. Looking at the parts diagram I think this boot is part of the alternator harness. Also, the cover over the oil pressure switch is cracked and appears to be part of the sub-harness. Does anyone know of a source for these or suitable alternatives?
Thanks in advance,
Chris.

TIMS has them for sure. The oil pressure boot is easy to replace, but the alternator one is a real pain. You have to remove all wires from the connector, then fish one at a time through the new rubber. You'll be cussing by the 3rd or 4th wire.
