In Need of a kick stand for my '79 CBX 1000

Post by dz-vintage »

Hey all,
I need a kick stand for my bike. Some yahoo before me actually cut this one off and welded it back together approx. 1 - 1 1/2" shorter than stock. Not sure why but it is certainly unsafe the way it is. Please someone help me out. Let me know if you have a stock one and the asking price. email pictures and price to nkzartman2@comcast.net
Thanks

Uhhm? Are you sure about the cutting off part? If you have replaced the rear shocks they maybe the issue. New generic coil overs that are spec'ed for the CBX are longer by about an inch.
That's why my kick stand seems short.

It's plain to see the welded area. Looks like a shoddy job.
